No Taxation

I got bored, so I wrote up a little historical text. All of the dates fit, for the most part. This could be actually used in a history class. It wouldn’t be useful for the most part, but it could help people to understand the base of it better.

[1763] American Colony: No taxation without representation!
[1764] American Colony: We’re Citizens of the British Empire
[1764] British Parliament: You are just a colony of the crown.
[1765] British Parliament: You are represented by all of Parliament.
[1770] American Colony: We’re Citizens of the British Empire
[1770] British Parliament: You’re just a colony.
[1770] * American Colony mumbles.
[1773] American Colony: We’re Citizens…
[1774] British Parliament: No, not really.
[1774] <This chat is now a chat room session>
[1774] <The room title is now "British talk">
[1774] <Your current permission level for this room is "Colony">
[1774] American Colony (amerpeople): Fail.
[1775] British Parliament (parliament): You really do.
[1775] * American Parliment (amerpeople) mumbles.
[1775] British Parliament (parliament): Wait, what?
[1775] American Parliment (amerpeople): Yeah, we don’t really need you any more.
[1775] British Parliament (parliament): You can not do that!
[1775] American Union (amerpeople): We just did.
[1775] <American Union (amerpeople) has left the room>

[1775] British Parliament: You must come back. Our honor depends on it.
[1775] American Union: Sorry, no can do.
[1775] British Parliament: You will truly be sorry, soon.
[1775] * British Parliament attacks!
[1775] * American Union left jab!
[1776] * American Union defeats the redcoats.
[1781] * American Union has grown to become a country.
[1781] America: ^_^

Sometime Later:

[1857] India: We’re Citizens of the British Empire
[1857] British Parliament: Screw you.
[1858] * British Army bashes India in the back of the head.

Anytime, really, anytime up until 1901:

[18**] Australia: Meep Meep
[18**] British Parliament: That is right.
[18**] British Parliament: Be a good little colonial bitch.

Also, the spelling of Parliament reminds me of a merry-go-round for some reason. I didn’t expect that second A. Also, left the American version without the A.
